The NEKY Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Association creates an energetic and welcoming environment for young professionals (ages 21-45) to engage, connect, and develop into future community leaders.
The YPA hosts several events each month to match the changing schedules of our members. We host a lunch social on the first Thursday of every month at Tres Hermanos. We also have a team trivia night at Jerk Riley’s and a happy hour that rotates around local establishments each month.
Besides networking and social events, the YPA is also involved in several local community projects. The YPA’s biggest service project is our backpack program. We collect backpacks, school supplies, and a new set of clothes for hundreds of underprivileged children in our area. We want every child in our community to start their first day of school on a level playing field with the rest of their peers.
In March 2025, the YPA hosted its first fund raiser with the goal of raising money for scholarships to ACTC and funding our backpack program. The Winter Classic mini golf tournament was a sold-out event with the full backing of local businesses and their employees. A special thanks to Malibu Jack’s and Smokin J’s for their instrumental support.
The YPA membership dues are $40/year for Chamber members and $60 for non-members.
